Mike started his Web design career when HTML 2 was the standard and has a background in public relations.
Before starting Spinnaker, Mike worked for the Kansas Department of Commerce & Housing where he served as webmaster for the agency Web site, coordinated special events, assisted in media relations and served on two committees related to e-government.
Mike received a BA in Journalism with an emphasis in public relations and a minor in economics from Kansas State University. He previously chaired the Technology Section of the Public Relations Society of America, and is a former national officer in the Public Relations Student Society of America.

Mike also serves in the Kansas Legislature as the state representative for the 51st district.
